Scarring correction
Need to know: Scarring tissue is formed from healthy skin, after an injury or surgery. The degree of scarring can be determined by the size, deepness, location, age of patient, hereditary factors, and characteristics of skin, like its color.
In general, it is a surgery performed with local anesthesia related to sedation. But a general anesthesia is also possible. It will depend on the advice of our surgeon.
There are different types of scars:
A keloid scar is abnormal, thick and has a different color and texture than the rest of the skin. They grow beyond the edges of the wound and it is possible they come back.
Wounds like burns resulting in the lost of large areas of skin can form hypertrophic scars.
Make up: As a result we usually obtain a thin, less obvious scar on the natural folds of our skin.
Profile: All people who have a scar, a defect on their skin, which they do not like and want to correct. It includes any sign which they want to make disappear by any personal reason.
